Mike Smith is the Senior Pastor and is married to Nancy. They have three married children, Gina (married to Matt), Jared (married to Jessica), and Joseph (married to Amanda). The families live in Pea Ridge, Bentonville, and North Little Rock. Mike and Nancy enjoy spending time with their seven grandchildren. As pastor, Mike is responsible for leading in areas of pastoral care, preaching sermons, coordinating small group studies, managing the financial sustainability of the church, meeting with ministry teams and committees, maintaining the spiritual direction of the church, preserving the unity of the church, and ensuring that peace, hope, forgiveness, and love are present in all church life events, ministry outreaches, team and committee meetings, and worship services. Mike’s passion for ministry focuses on ensuring all are welcome and none are excluded, encouraging others especially during times of difficulty, and providing evidence that God never gives up on us. Mike enjoys doing home improvement projects with his wife and traveling to places of interest in Arkansas.

Bill Skaggs is the Worship and Youth Minister and is the husband of Sunny and father to Graham, Jackson, and Finnley. Bill’s area of ministry includes planning and leading the music for all worship services and church life events, assisting with pastoral care, leading the youth ministry, leading youth small group studies, assisting with mission outreach, and providing music for special church events. Bill’s passion for ministry focuses on a deep desire for faithful discipleship at Oakley Chapel and for all Christians. Bill can also recite the alphabet backwards.

Born in Fort Smith, Carrie has called Rogers home for over 20 years. She fell in love with the piano in grade school, and has performed and accompanied choirs ever since. She loves serving as Oakley’s pianist and accompanist for Sunday morning worship. Carrie also coordinates the annual Oakley Back to School Bash, distributing backpacks and other necessities to over 300 kids and families. Carrie earned her B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Texas Woman’s University, and leads information security technologists for Walmart. An avid Razorback fan, Carrie attends nearly every home game, and in the rest of her spare time, enjoys arts & crafts, scrap booking, and hanging with family and friends.

Sara is married to Jeff and has two grown sons, James, and Jake. As the Director of Children’s Ministries and Handbells, Sara is responsible for providing opportunities for Christian growth and nurturing with the support of a committed and involved faith community. She also leads and directs the handbell choir. It is Sara’s hope that all God’s children will know they are loved and a part of God’s family. Sara loves babies and puppies and singing about God!
